Paranoia
Minimum wage, max tax deduction
criminals and slaves, hurricanes and weight reduction
penalty rates, and quality of living
fighting off UV rays, and languishing in pity
privacy protection, living in the city
can’t afford the ride, but it’s not about the cost
can’t afford the fear, of my body being lost
i am a sitting duck, and time is not kind
I’m awaiting lucifer, on another homicide
Patience is a virtue, and ignorance is bliss
And bliss is my misfortune, waiting for a kiss
Your weakness was envy, and your strength arrogance
Arrogance is petty, and so is pettiness
Concrete doors, as hard as your heart
No way to penetrate, sleeping in the cold dark.
